The Operations Officer will manage and oversee a range of operational tasks while ensuring adherence to company standards, timely processing, and the delivery of exceptional services to applicants. Key Responsibilities:
The Somali Speaker – Operations Officer will be expected to:
- Scrutinize and collect visa application documents for processing.
- Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, or in person with professionalism and accuracy.
- Manage cash and bank transactions when assigned while ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Record and maintain applicant data accurately and ensure timely data entry.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, standard operating procedures, and manuals without deviation.
- Assist with logistics, including the delivery of passports to consulates or applicants.
- Inform applicants about value-added services and ensure their smooth delivery.
- Encourage customer feedback on service quality to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management to ensure the successful execution of WB projects.
- Monitor and reduce daily errors through proper error logging and continuous learning.
- Attend training programs scheduled by HR and adhere to the organization’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) in any field.
Experience:
- No prior work experience is required. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Customer Service Representative is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and good typing speed.
- Adaptability to handle customer queries efficiently and with professionalism.
- Innovation and problem-solving abilities to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in Somali is mandatory.
- Proficiency in additional international languages will be an added advantage.
Other Essential Skills:
